Dental Assistant

Our office focuses on individualized, high quality dental work and is offering Full-time or Part-time position, expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
Assistants must be excellent at taking radiographs, impressions, chair side assisting, sterilization, and be highly organized.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or a Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF)
  • Current CPR certification preferred
  • Radiology certification preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience as an RDA

Registered Dental Hygienist

Come work at Riverwalk Family Dental. We are a privately owned, Fee For Service Dental Office who seeks motivated, self-driven Dental Hygienists who are proficient in all aspects of dentistry. Someone who is an avid believer of oral health and dedicated to patient care and can optimize growth in our hygiene department!

Full-time or Part-time position, expected hours: 25 – 40 per week

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Valid Dental Hygiene license in IL
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist
  • Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
  • Take dental x-rays
  • Proficient in patient assessment, including identifying oral health conditions and risk factors
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health care practices
  • Understanding of medical terminology and dental anatomy
  • Follow all infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in dental technology and techniques

Front Desk/Patient Coordinator
